Ziggy’s road to recovery!

Ziggy the cat came in to see Emma after being missing for five days. When he finally returned home, his owner noticed that his jaw appeared out of alignment and there was visible trauma to his left eye. A CT scan revealed that Ziggy had suffered extensive head trauma, most likely as the result of a road traffic accident. Rowan’s Story: Diagnosing and Treating Neurological Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)

Rowan first came to see us in late November 2025 after her owners noticed she was struggling to walk and becoming increasingly unsteady on her feet. This loss of balance, known as ataxia, was clearly observed during her consultation videos and was understandably very worrying. Restoring Stability: Hazel’s Pelvic Fracture Repair

The beautiful Hazel! Hazel is usually an active outdoor cat but she came home one night and her owner instantly knew something was not right. Hazel presented to Emma, one of our orthopaedic surgeons, as she was unable to walk normally on her hind limbs. Emma performed a CT scan which showed that Hazel had sustained multiple pelvic fractures, presumed to be from a road traffic accident, with the most significant of these being bilateral sacroiliac luxations.
