Poor Indie got more than he bargained for 6 weeks ago when he was happily playing with his cat friend. He landed awkwardly and sustained a spiral fracture to his left tibia. He presented to us non weight bearing lame on the left hindlimb and feeling understandably very sorry for himself. His fracture was repaired the following day by one of our orthopaedic surgeons and the fracture was reduced with two lag screws and stabilised with a medially placed 3.5 mm locking plate.
