We are thrilled to introduce Jess Bell as the newest member of our team, stepping into the role of Clinical Nursing Coordinator. With a robust background in nursing and a deep commitment to patient care, Jess brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our organisation.

Bridge Referrals

Jess Bell, Clinical Nursing Coordinator at Bridge Referrals

In her new role, Jess will be instrumental in overseeing nursing practices, implementing best practices and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Her strong leadership skills and innovative approach to problem-solving makes Jess a perfect fit for this role.

Jess qualified in 2015 but has been nursing for a total of 15 years. She has been lucky enough to gain lots of experience in general practice and also referral hospitals, covering all creatures great and small, including cats, dogs, exotics and even zoo animals!

Jess carries further qualifications in exotic and zoo animals, emergency and critical care and she is currently undertaking two additional certificates in anaesthesia which is where her passion lies. “I enjoy critical care patients and complicated anaesthesia, supporting and empowering my team to feel more comfortable with all aspects of veterinary care”.

Outside of Bridge Jess works part time as a college lecturer for Veterinary Nursing students and Animal Nursing Assistant students at Northumberland College, Kirkley Hall. “Supporting and encouraging the growth of students and staff has my heart these days, which is ironic for someone who went into Vet Medicine for the love of the animals”.

Jess’s beloved German Shepherd, Ted, has the rest of her time. Going on lots of walks and adventures together to make up for him having a part time job at the college as a living model and mannequin for the students!

Jess is very excited to be part of the team and very much looking forward to helping Bridge Referrals grow and thrive, ensuring we not only provide the best possible care for our patients and clients, but also our amazing team, without whom that gold star care would not be possible.

Please join us in welcoming Jess to our Referral Centre. We look forward to the exceptional care and expertise she will bring to Bridge Referrals.
