We are delighted to welcome Laura Tetlow to the Bridge Referrals Internal Medicine team.
Laura graduated from the University of Edinburgh as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2019. Following graduation, she worked in a busy small animal hospital in Northumberland, where she gained valuable experience in first opinion practice before completing her certificate in advanced veterinary practice.
Laura then decided to focus her career on Internal Medicine and went on to complete a one-year rotating internship, followed by a one-year Medicine internship, further developing her knowledge and experience within this field.
Having always been based in the North East, Laura was keen to continue her career locally and find a team where she could apply the skills and knowledge she has developed, while focusing on her passion for veterinary internal medicine.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors. She loves sports that include her rescue Cocker Spaniel Benji such as canicross, and has even had a go at bikejoring (mountain biking with a dog!). She also enjoys surfing, paddle boarding and exploring the outdoors whenever she can.
We are thrilled to have Laura join the Bridge Referrals team and look forward to the expertise and dedication she will bring to our Internal Medicine service.
