Karl joins the Bridge Referrals team
At Bridge Referrals, our commitment to continuous improvement and investment in our cardiology department brings numerous benefits to our patients, their owners, and our veterinary team.
Benefits of continued investments in Cardiology
Investing in state-of-the-art diagnostic tools such as ECG machines and high-resolution ultrasound machines allows for precise and accurate detection of heart conditions. Early and accurate diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment and better outcomes. With advanced equipment, we can perform a wide range of cardiac tests, from basic assessments to complex diagnostics, ensuring no detail is overlooked in evaluating a pet’s heart health.
With enhanced diagnostic capabilities, we can develop more personalised and effective treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient. Increased resources and staffing, such as having a full-time cardiologist, ensure that patients receive timely evaluations and interventions, which are critical in managing heart conditions effectively.
We can also ensure that patients throughout all our services have access to a cardiologist if issues arise during their visit.
A personal touch in Cardiac care
Our commitment to exceptional care goes beyond just advanced equipment. We pride ourselves on our friendly, down-to-earth approach to client communication and our dedication to offering cost-effective services. With a friendly demeanor, Karl creates a supportive environment where clients feel valued and heard. His empathetic approach ensures that pet owners are comfortable and confident in the decisions they make regarding their pet’s health.
He ensures that clients understand their pet’s condition and the rationale behind recommended treatments, which helps alleviate any concerns and fosters a sense of trust and partnership.
Interventional Cardiology
Interventional cardiology in veterinary medicine involves using catheter-based techniques to treat heart and vascular diseases. These procedures are often performed using specialised imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy, to guide catheters and other instruments through the blood vessels to the heart or other targeted areas. With our new Fluoroscopy suite now up and running, we plan to offer these services soon. (we have now started offering more interventional Cardiology Services.)
